Wonders of the Valley: Stage Entertainment 2010
Staying with our theme, "Wonders of the Valley", the stage show is showcasing the best of local and regional talent - both "Old Time" music and "New". This is an opportunity to show our home grown talent - those who have ventured afar and those that have made the Valley their home!
Join our Gospel Show on sunday and our entertaining eating contests & various dance groups throughout the weekend.
Appaloosa
Our feature band is "Appaloosa", from the lower mainland, with a local flavor, featuring Psam Frank on keyboards.
Appaloosa has appeared at the Calgary Stampede,Cloverdale Rodeo, as well as the Merritt Mountain Music Festival. They are a very lively, talented and entertaining band. They hope to have a new CD by Fair Time.
Rachelle Van Zanten
How to describe Rachelle ... talented, energetic, original, featuring her playful slide guitar and clear-but-mourful voice. Rachelle plays the guitar amazingly, and it is prominently showcased thoughout her show, with especially strong and powerful vocals. Rachelle bounces easily through many different genres, she has two CDs "Back to Francois" and "Where Your Garden Grows".
Neale Bacon and His Crazy Critters
We have "Neale Bacon and His Crazy Critters" from Burnaby BC, an internationally known Ventriloquist, formerly of Smithers, on stage entertaining children and adults alike and strolling the grounds.
